Financial details

Lions everywhere run two types of accounts.  One account is for administration (to run the club, pay international affiliation fees etc) and this is funded entirely from within the club membership. Members pay annual fees to support this.

Our Services

The City Lions Club is known for its involvement with the Tarawera Ultra Trail, the Cactus programme and support of the Summer Reading programme, the Lions Cancer Lodge and the local Hospice. But the key activity for members is our involvement with firewood in various guises.  We collect, cut, split and deliver firewood to the elderly and infirm with the help of wood suppliers such as forest companies and the Council. ..more..
